if at any point, in any existence, anyone has felt what it is to be “whole” or “complete” or whatever you want to call it. Like, what was my heart like as a child? I mean, I knew pain, but in ways that differ from the ways in which I know it now.
I don’t know. I just wonder what it’d be like to press restart on your emotions.
Don’t you ever wanna go back to when you never lost anything? To when nothing hurt? To when your heart was whole?
In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.”
I love that. “You are missing from me.” You are a part of me, you are essential to my being. You are like a limb, or an organ, or blood. I cannot function without you.
in American we say “do fries come with that shake” when someone with a cute patootie walks by
in german we say shut the fuck up thats the gayest thing ive ever heard
